The American middle class is shrinking and economic mobility is historically low. Yet, there are millions of open middle class jobs that employers struggle to fill. Strive helps deserving candidates get family-supporting middle class careers, regardless of their educational or socioeconomic background. Strive does this by helping companies evaluate candidates on their competencies and potential rather than credential and pedigree. Strive is working with a few great early customers and recently closed a $3MM+ seed round from top investors to build the team and scale impact.
As a Talent Advocate at Strive you will work the CEO and Growth Associate to source, interview, and evaluate candidates for in-demand middle-skill roles.
Source: Provide feedback and support for candidates as they go through the evaluation process
Interview: Interview candidates using structured Strive methodology
Evaluate: Grade candidate applications and score candidate assessments
Office Management (local candidates only): Work on-site for 5-6 hours once a week. Responsible for ensuring the office runs like a well-oiled machine.
PAY, GROWTH AND LOCATION
The role requires 10-15 hours a week of work, including a regular schedule of 2-3 hours of work every day. The pay is $15/hour.
Strive is based in the Mission neighborhood of San Francisco. We are looking to hire 1-2 remote and one local Talent Advocate.
If you perform well, this role could lead to a full-time summer internship or post-grad job.
